us: xb360 overtracked 4,5%, ps3 nearly spot on
uk: ps3 overtracked 10%, xb360 nearly spot on

 

the flat overtracked numbers is worse in the us, but the relatively tracking is better

but yes. vgc is 100 - 150k overtracked on gen 8 in the uk (not sure if that mcv number is from end of september, or mid october)



500K over 7 years though and X1 is only approaching year 2.

both is 10% overtracked.
i should have done the math before just looking at the flat number.

the whole gen8 ps4+xb1 numbers in uk seem ar ~10% overtracked right now.
last gen ps3 + 360 combined is just 4%

Yeap... one week.

PS4 passed 1 million in UK in the first week of September... after that it sold more in UK except one single week... there 1.8 million means 1 million but what PS4 sold in the last two months is for PS4 and what left is for Xbone.

That why it is around 700k in UK and not 770k like VGC shows.

Eh, I would...since 8.6m is pretty damn close to 9m. You don't know what he calls close because it's subjective. My point is that 360 doesn't have to be within 100k away from 9m, making PS3 less overtracked than "~1/2 million units"

8.6 is NOT pretty damn close to 9.
8.6 is not pretty damn close to 9m, if u said over 1 year ago that it was at 8.4m

and the xb360 sold not only 200k units in the uk in 70 weeks (below 3k on weekly average including the time before the next gen consoles came out and one holiday season)
it is within 100k for sure. maybe even just 10 or 20k short of 9m
