It's an endless search for the next topic. It's like a room filled with distant family members who never see each other. Everyone's just so desperate to find something else to talk about. Some people just like to talk. Some people like the attention when a bunch of people on the internet comment on their thread. And I'm convinced lots of people just want the points.

I'm going to make that thread someday when you least expect it.

But I agree it can be hard-pressed to find stuff to talk about in regards to video games considering how long this place has been around. That's why I wish we could have general topics in the front page. If I'm ever bored of video game talk, a good religious fight or backlash against feminism is always fun to read about.
