I'm not understanding this chart whatsoever. Hasn't Destiny PS4 outsold X1 version every week, but X1 has a higher percentage? The same with 360 and PS3 version.

The % is per plataform.

Bungie in October accounted for 6.8% of all PS4 software sales (revenue) while for Xbone it acounted for 7.2% of the sofware sales.

I think the percentages under each console for each studio (it doesn't actually seem to be by game, but most studios have only one game, or one really big game that would make up the vast majority of sales anyway) account for the % of the platform total software sales. So Destiny's total is 5.5%, so Destiny is 5.5% of total software sales for the...year?

Then, the PS4 % under Destiny is 6.8%. This means that 6.8% of all PS4 software sold for the year was Destiny. For the Xbox One, it was 7.2%. So Destiny made up a larger portion of total Xbox One software sales (than PS4), but we know overall PS4 Destiny sales were higher.

It is for October only.

The chart is kinda useless this way, if it was % in general not per console, we could take all sales just from the Fifa total.

My point is, thats another mistake.

...and a rather basic one.

But that was my mistake... not the chart... they wrote Playground Games.

Makes since that so didn't beat FIFA on combined but it did beat it on single. So go SO

Great to see Insomniac getting it done. Definitely thought they've deserved more love than they've gotten.

Yep MS has treated them very well as well.

Isn't this just october?

Right you are, I was unsure and suppose I would have been best off just saying "period of time" or something along those lines.

It's a pity there isn't an software breakdown by platform for the totals too, so we could get a clearer indication of sales comparisons between titles on different platforms. Seeing that Destiny made up a larger proportion of Xbox One software sales than it did on PS4 is interesting, but it doesn't give us any indication of how the sales of the game compares across platforms.

I think they were treated pretty well by Sony, the fans just didn't warm to Resistance as much as Sony and Insomniac had hoped.
