Forums - Sales Discussion - UK Charts Week Ending 01 November 2014

I think Sunset Overdrive did something between 30k and 40k.

Even if we assume Xbox one was ~630k when they announced 1m for PS4, did they only sell ~170 in the last two months?

Freedom Wars!!! :)
How many units did it sold? 10k?

I'm trying to figure which game is the second FH2... it is clearly a mistake because the % for PS3, Vita, etc.

Guys the TOP20 is right because it is per developer... they just list the best seller game for that developer.

Sumo digital did a lot of games for different platforms.

The Polyground Games % for Xbone have Forza 5 and Forza Horizons 2.

Why would they have forza 5? They didn't have anything to do with it.

I'm not understanding this chart whatsoever. Hasn't Destiny PS4 outsold X1 version every week, but X1 has a higher percentage? The same with 360 and PS3 version.

No.

Its Turn 10's game....and who are polyground, its playground.

And Sumo did forza Horizon for xbox 360 and had no involvement with Xbox ONE - it mentions xbox one next to the game but has no % for xbox one!?

this chart seems to be a bit of a mess to me.

Yeap I messed Turn 10 and Polyground... I wanted to give other example the 0.1 of 360 sales for Polyground come from Forza Horizon 1.

The chart is right... it is per developer... Sumo digital worked on Forza Horizon 2 and it is the best selling game for them... they just typed the Xbox One instead 360.

I think that is the only mistake in the chart... I can't find any other.

I think the percentages under each console for each studio (it doesn't actually seem to be by game, but most studios have only one game, or one really big game that would make up the vast majority of sales anyway) account for the % of the platform total software sales. So Destiny's total is 5.5%, so Destiny is 5.5% of total software sales for the...year?

Then, the PS4 % under Destiny is 6.8%. This means that 6.8% of all PS4 software sold for the year was Destiny. For the Xbox One, it was 7.2%. So Destiny made up a larger portion of total Xbox One software sales (than PS4), but we know overall PS4 Destiny sales were higher.

Ah gotcha! That makes more sense.
