Looking at Amazon hourlies for UK it looks like PS4 is starting November pretty much the same as the rest of the year. So my question is, has MS put all its Xb one eggs in the US basket and pretty much abandoned the rest of the world? It almost seems like they aren't even trying in the UK any more.
MS seems to be desperate to pull out a NPD win so it can crow about something that it is willing to give PS4 free reign everywhere else. Being the leading console in the US still means something esp in terms of 3rd party support and exclusives. So focusing effort on USA at the expense of everywhere else is a sound strategy to some extent, but how far is too far?

Also i think Sony only needs to price match for black Friday to make November close.
