As things currently stand (i.e. without seeing what, if anything, Sony has planned) I think the Xbox One does have a solid chance of winning November. Aside from the baseline boost and heightened appeal of the cheaper stuff, we should keep in mind that two bundles worth of pre-orders will be getting redeemed in that month, along with any poor sods who were going to get the Sunset Overdrive bundle, only to cancel/return their pre-order for a week for the fifty bucks off. While the pre-orders hadn't, until recently, been notable, it's still at least a small boost the PS4 isn't going to get, in the same way the Destiny bundle pre-orders gave the PS4 a gigantic boost in its launch week.
Honestly, if Sony DOESN'T end up doing anything notable, (i.e. doesn't release anything more than a ten buck off bundle,) I actually hope Microsoft does pull off November. =P The more the Xbox One has its price drops, bundles, and various increasingly costly measures intended to draw in customers, only to get outsold by the PS4 in its home market anyway with minimal effort from Sony, it is preeeetty much just going to reinforce the sense of 'Yyyyyup, we got these markets on lock." As happy as I am seeing the PS4 selling so well, would be nice to have their heels nipped at, even on occasion, to avoid Xbox 360 levels of dominance.
