PSN is fine. Was playing Destiny. So, like Drive Club, their network protocol is messed up.

Edit:  Also, its good that they delayed it. 

downloaded fine for me, launching it just gives an prompt claiming the servers are over capacity and i should try later, back to playing destiny online without any issues i guess.

They really need to build more servers. That's the issue.

I managed to download it and get it running but it won't let you get past logging in. It says there's no space on the server for new players.

Is it coincidence that this is having server problems and initially the drive club thing was blamed on servers. I presume all the other multiplayer games are running ok.

Surely this a problem with 2K's netcode rather than Sony's fault has everything else is playing fine (obviously one game isnt). Surely that's down to 2K to sort out.

I think so too. Don't have much confidence in 2K's online ability after the horror of GTA Online launch, as well as annual problems every single NBA game had...

And when I realize that this game is muliplayer only, I think I'll avoid it regardless of the gameplay quality...

Yea the game just looks incredibly boring to me. Looks like you will just get bored very quickly.

Things are a little concerning latley with PS4 Firmware and software. There was so much praise during the initial announcement, and up to launch about the ease of programming, but these last few weeks have been crazy.

The sad thing is, I have been playing Killzone, COD:G, NFS:R, MLB:TS, both Maddens, and most recently Destiny with no problems this whole year. Even in these recent times I have only had one instance were things were not working, and that was a PSN wide issue.

So, what is going on with these programmers? Evo can't handle network code, ubi can't tap and extra power, Sony botchs its firmware, and now T2 can't handle networking. This would have been understanable at launch to some extent, such as Battlefield, but with a full year of final dev kits, and a system that is selling more than 50% of the software this is unacceptable. Massive problem that Sony can't get it together, and 3rd parties as well. The focus should be on the money maker platfrom, and deliverying the best and most sold version.
