Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft Band is Sold Out?

They probably had VERY small initial shipment on purpose just so they'd have the positive press of being 'sold out'

If it comes to the UK at less than a ton and a half I'm sold.

Doubt it's selling any substantial numbers. Probably just low supply.

Cross platform device. Bound to sell out, whilst everyone else tries to use their bands to lure people to their phone ms just release one that works with all.

very good move.

True, this is definitely the best way to move into the wearables market --- make a device everybody can use.

Would be silly of them to cater only to WP crowd, it is a very small market. This way, if the product is good, they can become a major player, as they certainly have the know-how and the funds to back it...

If I ever went insane and wanted to purchase a fitness band, this would surely be it...

No wonder Nintendo are doing the QOL stuff.....they announced it first but might release last!

Google & Samsung will also be competing. But I like the band thing from MS so far.

Yes, a bit slow but what's interesting about their umm gadget is that it is non wearable. Would be intersting to see if there other applications or just mostly sleep tracking related.

I think they are all different non-wearable things.

I actually ordered a large one online, because that stupid size chart told me to. Then I went to the M$ store yesterday afternoon to see if I chose the right size. Low and behold, that stupid size chart was wrong and I was really a medium. So there was another man there that came a few minutes before I did and was holding one medium box for hostage, along with 4 smalls. He ended up buying those and all they had left were smalls. They had sold out of all other sizes. I should have followed that man to the Metro and assassin's creed his ass.

I tried to exchange my large for a medium, but the package shipped already. So I put another order in for a medium and it's backordered.

Looks like eBay is going to go crazy with these

Surface was sold out at launch too but we all know how that ended up.
