I'm in a minority?, the PS4 numebrs compared to say the rest of the planets population that doesn't have a PS4 yet and I'm in the minortiy?.

Power - I have a PC, the PC always wins that argument and will always trump a console

The most games - PC wins that again with multiplats and their own exclusives

Cheap - so far I'm seeing the Wii U and XB1 being cheaper along with last gen hardware and PC upgrades, PS4 is expensive where I am whether you like to admit that fact or not, you cannot overide someone's view of currency with your own claiming something is cheap when clearly others have a different view on value.

Sexy - Subjective, didn't know we were talking about how sexy a piece of plastic is, I've seen custom PC cases more sexier than a standalone PS4 template that's not unique because everyone is getting the same shape.

Promise - I see promise in all corners, MS shows me promise, Nintendo and even PC, you cannot tell me with a straight face that Sony is literally the only company in the world to only show promise, that's a proper lie if ever I've seen one.

Brand are the key words - Other brands I've seen sell quite well, PC even, not only related to Sony.

So instead of trying to "pursuade" me or even accept that the PS4 just doesn't have the power to grip me you're going to throw out poor examples that have been done or trumped by others and then go on to grammar nazi me at the end?.

Eh gaming is bigger than ever, its just spread to more platforms, namely those with an apple and an android on the box. Nintendo, Sony and MS arent the begining and end of gaming.

Precisely. There are agreements and contracts between distributors (Sony, MS, and Nintendo) if they can't move the stock, but that isn't a major issue with these products due to lack of channel stuffing (overshipping).

What point? I'm struggling to see what effect subscription services are currently having on consoles. I mean the PS4 is the fastest selling console in history. I know that's hard for some peopler to hear. Yes gaming will eventually have a big shift and everything will change, but the fact that you're using it as an excuse to downplay the PS4's success in just baffling. When all consoles start doing terribly and everyone is using subscription services or whatever then you may have a point. But until then, PS4 is doing great. The shipment numbers are fantastic. There is absolutely no reason to downplay its sales unless you have an agenda.

The key words are reasons for why PS4 is so popular. Neither WiiU nor XB1 has all of them.

This. It's not like PS4 is only doing great relative to XB1 and WiiU...no, it's doing great compared to EVERY console ever released.

Nintendo is so low because they got dominated.  Trends tend to follow inertia.
