Thats why looking at meta PS4 has more better rated games.  Just saying, facts > what you think.

As above even Sony has said they don't know why the system is selling so well. Probably because they know they really haven't released any huge games for it yet. 

Even the PS2 had things like Madden NFL exclusive, Ridge Racer V, Tekken Tag, Metal Gear Solid 2, Grand Theft Auto 3, Devil May Cry, TimeSplitters, in its first year. Waaaaay better than the PS4. 

I'm sure things like Fez and other indie games are cool, but I didn't buy a next-gen console to play high brow indie games that are trying to look like retro Super NES games on steroids. 

Dont be fooled by pr talk, they want to seem humble.  Yosh is awesome at it.  They know exactly why, as we all do.  

PS2 line up was better then pretty much any consoel ever, that proves what exactly? 


I think the PS3 had a a better first year than the PS4 too software wise. PS4 of all the consoles that had a strong first year (N64, PS2, Wii, XBox 360) has the weakest first year library I can remember in a long time. 

The best exclusive by a country mile is Last Of Us, which is a PS3 game that just came out the year before.

Why are people justifying so much the Wii being bellow because of lack of supply, shouldn't they go there complain against Nintendo for them not being capable to produce more?

Let's stop with the "wii had japan" nonsense. Nobody said that about the battle between the ps3 and 360, because if the ps3 didn't have japan, the 360 kicked it's ass.... so let's not play that bs.

PS3 was dead till Uncharted. 

I'd take Resistance, Ridge Racer 7, Ratchet & Clank, and Uncharted over the PS4's first year exclusives. 

Even the "big ticket" first year multiplat games for the PS4 like Destiny and Watch Dogs have in retrospect turned out to be overhyped out the wazoo. Neither of these games lived up to their billing. Just mindless hype. 

The best game on the PS4 is a year old PS3 game, and then there's a huge drop-off after that.

Even the Wii which had a lot of garbage shovelware its first year still brought Zelda: TP, Fire Emblem, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Mario Galaxy to the table within 12 months (and Wii Sports, if that's your thing).

This not a nonsense, just common sense.


And if 360 had released the same year than PS3, PS3 kicked it's ass.

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Just calling it how I see it. I even own a PS4, but I can admit the X1 is the better console right now all around.

PS4's OS is laughably bare bones at the moment too, it can't even do things that the PS3 can, like run movie files off a USB stick.

Sony rode the hype train, just like Destiny and Watch Dogs did (two overhyped, borderline mediocre games). But hype sells. 

Objectively though the PS4 library for its first year really isn't much better if at all than the PS3, which had a mediocre first year.
