Maximum Velocity is on the Wii U eshop, it's worth a purchase.

I just dont know how well the series would translate to the GBA, I didnt like/couldnt play Mario Kart GBA soley because I found it very hard to see when to turn on the track.

Will get it one day though to see what it is like.

GX

story mode (probably the most exciting times full of adrenaline I ever had in a videogame)

great music (some great music tracks falls slightly behind X)

great tracks (not only complex but also full of variety)

SPEED (fastest game in the franchise)

There is a notable difference between Super Circuit and Maximum Velocity. The latter runs smooth and thus feels really good while the former feels almost unplayable in comparison. I have no idea what Nintendo did differently between those two games, but they aren't even close when it comes to graphics.

Oh nice to know, and good to hear I wasnt crazy about Super Circuit being hard to play for me.

The N64 one, game was amazing.

The 2D F-Zero games never caught much of my interest, but I can see why the SNES version is so highly regarded; great soundtrack and groundbreaking gameplay.

F-Zero X had the best music, but was heavily limited by the hardware. The gameplay feels relatively slow and dull after playing the more recent entry:

F-Zero GX had by far the most exciting gameplay (better than any racer I've ever played), best visuals and best course design. And the massive learning curve with each vehicle added tons of replayability. The story mode and custom vehicles were nothing special, but is easily overlooked by the core modes and gameplay. (I still can't think of a more satisfactory feat than taking out your opponents in splitscreen mode, only to race to the finish line by yourself.)

GX gets my vote.

GX, it is my second favourite racing game of all time!

I love everything about it!

The soundtrack is kick ass.

I'd like to see spin-off game, an open world game where you play as Captain Falcon.

Had to go with GX although it was a close one with F-Zero X.

X had the speed down and I loved the Death Match mode which was basically just crash into as many drone cars as possible.

GX is very much like X but with better graphics, a merciless story mode and more frizzles. Honestly I think even with the lame background images I liked some of X's tracks more but all in all I have to give it up GX.

Seriously, I don't get why Nintendo hasn't at least tried to make a new game on the 3DS at least, Captain Falcon is popular enough in Smash... USE IT and not just water it down with a lame generic racing anime or more attempts to improve on the SNES version like with all those GBA sequels.

F Zero X is the correct choice here.

GX is just so awesome.
