Here is FACTS Shareholders want to know how well their company is doing not MAYBE's. So that means Nintendo releases sales totals for their Quarterly just like everyone else.Then for some reason only NINTENDO uses shipped as their sales numbers to people in these forums who show no proof, they just say it, but XBONE/PS4 are not shipped these are sales numbers. Seems a little double standardish too me. When Sony or Microsoft release their Quarterly, i believe them. I do not get irriated and write Doom crap or spin it to make others to believe their numbers . With that being said,  there are reasons why i think NIntendo comes up out on top this holiday.

Nintendo just had a slight profitable Quarter in Q2(which i said would happen) and now looks strong going into the holiday. I also said if they showed a slight profit we would see a $50 price drop right before Black Friday with the Bundle of NSMBU only i think now. Mario Kart bundle would stay the same. This right here alone will draw PARENTS interest into buying this system rather than the other 2. Then we have SMASH Release along with Amiibos to draw kids to tell SANTA this is what i want for the holiday and PARENTS will listen. 

People have said some pretty harsh things to me on these OPINIONS THAT ARE MINE. But me being a parent with two kids and around parents constantly(due to school functions)I can see this happening. IF I AM WRONG I CAN COME ON HERE AND I CAN SAY IT. Once again its called a prediction nothing else so stop getting so stongly upset and have an edcuated response.

I Believe NIntendo is just fine and just came out the gates slow do to relying on the succes of the Wii. We can now see we are back to normal and ready to dominate this holiday.

I seriously doubt that. There is little wiggle room Nintendo has for a price drop bacause of the amount of components especially the controller (LCD touch screen, camera, NFC, etc) the Wii U has. As for Wii U dominating this holiday, of course it could happen. There was a time when the Vita was outselling the 3DS, but the Vita permanently ran out of steam. When it comes to the entertainment business, anything can happen.

Xbone and PS4 numbers that are announced by Sony or MS are actually assumed to be shipped unless they specify otherwise. That's why there was so much debate over the 10m+ number put out by Sony at Gamescom (might be misremembering where they said it) even though Sony clearly said sold to consumers. Simple fact is all numbers from the publishers are shipped unless otherwise indicated and that's always been that way.

They are SHIPPED numbers, they have been for years. This doesn't and shouldn't even need dicussing in this day and age.

What the companies call sales are what we call shipped- what they ship to retailers they call sales because that is who they are selling to -

The amount the retailer sells is what we call sales, the difference In The 2 numbers is the inventory

So all 3 console makers use the same language when they are reporting their earnings and speaking to the investment communitty

Yeah i missed couple too bad i do not take myself so seriously to care. It was all in the name of fun. With that being said i NEVER pick the BILLS, JETS, OR PATRIOTS unless they are playing each other wiith that and my missed week im down 15 wins.
