Buying a Vita on my way home from work today.  Main reason being the remote play option.  I do love some good JRPGs though.  Anyone got any suggestions on great JRPGs (or hell, even just RPGs in general) that I should be keeping my eye on for my soon to be new device?

I suggest Persona 4: Golden (turn-based), Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited (strategy), and Freedom Wars (action). Tales of Hearts R is also coming up.

There are other good JRPGs like Hyperdimension Rebirth and the Atelier plus games though they're definitely not for everyone.

The vita is great, i love mine, but if you consider it mostly for remote play in home, consider combo of Xperia Z3 with mounted Dualshock. The screen is better, but most of all DS3 provides much better accurancy than vita sticks, which is essential in playing many games.

I wanted the OLED before they sell out here completely, not sure if they already have, but last time I checked it was too expensive for me for what it offers. Will probably wait for fire sales for the 2000 model at around 99€. If it wasn't for Uncharted Golden Abyss I would probably not bother at all.

PS TV comes first and I'm getting an Xperia Z3 before Christmas.

Congrats though.

I own one and to be honest I like it better than any other console I've owned.

Yah bro Persona 4 Golden. It's dope.

If you want JRPGs on it, you're spoilt for choice with plenty more on the way. It's definitely about as good as you'll get this decade for an RPG system.

P4G, Soul Sacrifice, Freedom Wars, Gravity rush, Uncharted, Killzone Mercenaries, Tearaway, Virtue's last reward are all good to amazing games.
