They're not gonna fire someone over not equaling PS4 sales. And in terms of getting sales, he's the best guy for the job.

If anything Spencer saved the X1(well maybe not he alone but a number of managers and advisors). He pretty much embodies the almost completely positive image that the X1 has now.
What they should do is hire don Mattrick back and then fire him.

MS can see that the mess that is X1 was a result of previous management and not attributable to Spencer. Now it's time to fix things and firing him would achieve nothing. What's the next person gonna do, cut the price 99 cents?
