Well I would like to begin with two big games that are rumoured to have new release dates.

Metal Gear Solid 4- A friend of mine works at gamestop and says that their computer systems changed the release date from 2007, to March 2008.  Apparently it is just a place holder date until the official date is announced, but it seems the title may have slipped.  If you look on www.gamestop.com, you can see the change for yourself - the game is now listed for March 2008.

Metroid Prime 3 - The same friend alerted me that Metroid Prime 3 has been changed from 'Fall 2007' to August 2007.  I checked www.gamestop.com earlier and saw August 11, but then just saw 'August 1' the generic date for August.

Over at IGN, Matt C. has said Metroid news is supposed to come the week of 5/20.  In addition, Sony's gamer event is early next week, so we will likely hear more about MGS4 as well.

The only rumor i heard..given that(rumor) was a few weeks ago, A buddy of mine in seattle heard that the 360 is dropping in November or so(not elite)and that is why MS shipped a whole bunch to Best buy/etc and made them get the Vista. It kinda makes sense, I mean if the Wii and PS3 between the 2 have manufacturing issues/price..here comes the 360 saying...Wanna buy..?? we have it in stock and discounted too!!!

interesting rumours.... i hope they release Metroid in August, but its been delayed a few times, could happen again? p.s. why dont they make a rumour board in the forums? sounds like a kl idea to me :P

Ive heard tons of rumors about the 360 getting a price drop ($100) just in time for H3 and GTAIV....Unsubstantiated though. Most of the old "this PS3 game is coming to 360" all proved true. The only rumors that could be legit are possible ports of the FFXIII series to the 360 and Wii for some spinoff games, like FFXII:RW were.

Any one else hear about the cancelled gamcube game, nintendo pennet chase baseball, coming to wii? 1up.com says it is but...i dont believe it.

Rumor that MGS4 is being pushed to 2008 floating the gamespot SW board

 1. Depends on whether the manufacturing costs drop below $300. If not, then a $50 drop is likely.

 2. I'm not claiming MGS4 will be ported to the 360, but with all the rumors of PS3 games before, the Sony fanboys grasp at straws to claim it's impossible for the same to happen to MGS4. 

I've got this feeling, that either at E3 (or what remains of it) or the Tokyo Game Show, Nintendo is going to announce some type of Sims/PS3 Home experience that involves the Miis. Miyamoto has been sorta hinting at it lately... I BET ITS TRUE. Also I think Nintendo is secretly stocking up their Wiis for the holidays. You heard it here first!

A 360 price cut for Halo/GTA makes perfect sense to me. MS are the leaders this generation, and should be the ones pushing for a price cut. A significant cut just before the holidays/big releases (GTA arrives in October I believe...) would perfectly be in sync with a holiday marketing campaign, drive sales of everything... and put HEAPS of pressure on Sony. It might even force Nintendo to drop Wii prices (by $50 or so...) - depends on how well the games/units are still selling.
