Japan: Second christmas in february / march? Many games will appear for the PS4 in february and march. What do you think the PS4 will sell strongly?
Here are a few releases:

end of january: bladestorm, far cry 4 and resident evil hd

february: Dragon Quest Heroes, Dragon Ball Z game, samurai warriors 4-II and RE Revelation 2 and Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. (Cross Gen) and the final first God Eater (2) on console (PS4/Vita)! The Order 1886 exclusiv for ps4.

dying light and evolve for next gen too.

march: Final Fantasy Type 0 for ps4 with FF15 demo, disgaea 5 (only ps4) and yakuza zero (PS4/PS3, experience Tokyo 1988) and estival versus for ps4. One piece pirate warriors 3 too. Bloodborne (only PS4) ! perhaps even more games like "project cars, deception" and stuff. japan is waiting for Persona 5 and Metal Gear Solid 5. <3 Strong ps4 sales in february and march in japan? I hope japanese players get back on console!

I really hope it does well and proves that Japan is only waiting for good games to buy a PS4! They really need a bigger baseline to start making great Japanese games for the ps4

I think the baseline should steadily increase next year, and February will be the start. Next year's release schedule is miles ahead of this years for Japanese tastes

I think people are jumping too much in conclusions about the situation of home consoles in Japan. Vita is a good example. It sold terribly bad there the first year, but a batch of Japanese games just made Japan its stronger territory. It's not like handheld = sell like crazy and home console = don't sell at all there.

They want games, and Japanese games. Not one or two and not cross gen titles, they need reasons to buy the console. PS4 launched on East woth CoD, BF, Assassin's Creed, Killzone and a lot of western titles. Right now, there are a lot of titles avaiable or coming soon that western gamers want, most of them next-gen only.

Definitely much stronger than now.

FF, Yakuza, Bloodborne... big names here for the Japanese audience. Bloodborne already appeared on COMG and it's over 3 months away.

Add a myriad of other games like Disgaea, DoA, God Eater, DQ Heroes, etc, all in the span of a few weeks, and yes, much higher sales should be expected for February and March.

What I don't get is why there's been no games for ages then they all release bunched up together. Hopefully the rest of the year will be similarly packed.

is souls a nice game in japan, too compared to sellers like mh, kh and the nintendo ips?

ps4 will get some stream in march. but it wont hold long. drough summer and big again in the fall

I voted Disgaea 5 but really I don't have the slightest idea. I basically made my choice because I think I remember Sony making a silver console with a chrome slime monster oozing over the front as a USB protecter. I just figure if they are willing to make a custom PS4, must be kindof a big game for them.
