Forums - Sales Discussion - Another price-cut for Microsoft? How much money are they losing with Xbox One?

Im pretty sure each XBO live subsription covers the actual loss made on the new price tag. Bundled 3rd party games probably looses them 30 dollars or so.

I don't think they are losing money, the console has such a weak hardware, even Sony selling a more powerful hardware for 400$ stopped losing money a few months ago...

They don't lose money + they start earning money very fast with the online memberships.

Sony was never losing money.

its just a promotion, not a price cut. This is MS you're talking about, they can afford it

I take it you believe in fairy tales also given that logic.

The Xbox One could lose billions and MS wouldn't even flinch. Okay, maybe the investors but thats them xD

How difficult is it to understand that removing kinect isnt a price cut. Apparently very difficult for some. It was a new cheaper to produce SKU at new lower price.

Average joe wont see it like that, X1 once cost 500 in best buy but now he waks in now it costs 350.  Plays Forza madden cod just the same.

Try all you want to say other wise, its a 150 cut in his eyes.
