Think about people caring about first party exclusives, look at a new console's sales ( aka ps4 ) and tell me that it makes sense... it does not. Personally i do care and why I got an xbox one and stopped gaming on anything else for now. Cause i have no time and i care about exclusives :)

This is a topic people have been discussing since before the PS4 and X1 released. The X1 getting a new low 80's title isn't particularly relevant.

Just a little coincidental that this thread popped up right after that though...

If SO had a really high score, and we saw a large increase in the number of negative Xbox threads (similar to what we saw with TLOU and TLOU:R), then i could believe there was a correlation between the two. But a single thread on a topic we frequently see pop up? Nah.

lol, good point, we're nowhere even remotely close to TLOU/R levels of hatred.

hmmm, I dunno Microsoft haven't really got that much hate for Halo MCC.

I think alot of the TLOU hate was because it was seen as the next big ip and it was just for Sony.

I think if the roles were reversed, it's quite possible you could see the same level of hate.  The TLOU hate was inexplicable, it really was.  I can't understand why it mattered to so many people.

Funnily it's a complete coincidence, I have talked about this with my friends since launch of the new consoles.. I've only recently hit the 50 post requirement to make threads.

I don't think the PS4 itself was rushed all that much, aside from some features like share play not being ready for prime time. It's common enough for launch titles to seem rushed and underwhelming. Only Nintendo really has a history of launching a killer app with their consoles, and even then it's just one. As for DriveClub, I get the impression that it had a horribly troubled development cycle independent of the PS4's release date.


Haha I had hoped that knack would be an average platformer compared to mario, I couldve handled/enjoyed an average platformer....

I have to disagree I think the PS4 was very rushed. They were advertising the order and driveclub as essentially launch or launch window titles yet it was almost a year till we got the first. I should also mention I felt the Xbox was also rushed to release, although not as much as the PS4.
