I want amiibos to be used for Virtual Console or game promotions.

Imagine a Captain Falcon amiibo having a code for an F-Zero SNES VC release, for instance.

It would also make swallowing the price tag much, much easier.

Yup, because I can pretend they don't exist.

Do we even know what they do outside of Smash Bros. yet? Regardless it woulda been nice if they were cheaper.

I dont know what other games will they be used for, but i am satisfied with how they are used in smash bros. I think its about time for them to show how will they work in other games.
13$ seems like a good price for multiple games.

£10 from amazon is a good price.

I think they just need to hurry up and say how the rest of the games will use amiibos - though with Nintendo we have to wait a lot to know a lot.

And announce what 3DS titles will use them....

Personaly, I think not having a pure Amiibo game like skylanders and Disney infinity is idiotic. If you had that game, you would HAVE to buy a few while they still would have the davantage over it's competition of being addons to other great game.

But instead so far they decided to go the pure worthless gimmick add-on route, instead of giving us a game that has for goal of showing uz what they are fort exactly.

As of now all they do is let you face computers better than Lv.9s in Smash Bros. That right there is worth exactly zero dollars.

I would have explained by now how it works on the other games, since the multi-game support was supposed to be one of its features. Last week Hyrule Warriors support was added, but we haven't got the foggiest what that means.

The game is multiplayer right? Then I could see you being able to save your characters with their stats, equipment, etc. onto the Link amiibo and then go to your friend's house with it, but that's still meh.
