I really don't care. Of course it runs much better on current gen, but it's not like I've studied comparisons between the XB1 and PS4 versions.


It's actually a pretty enormous difference. The PS4 version looks a hell of a lot clearer and more vivid. It's something anyone with eyesight good enough to play games at all would notice immediately. 

 

The game is full 1080p on PS4 and only 720p on Xbone. The Xbone version is virtually identical to the PS3/360 versions, except with a framerate more like the PS4's 60fps.

 

In addition to that, we see better colours, shadows, AA, etc.

That's because that footage is the PS4 version. MGSV GZ has an extreme graphicsl gap between PS4 and Xbox One.

That said, it's still clearly cross-gen no matter where you play it (albeit very impressive cross-gen). It can't do what Second Don does.

Oh yes, Resogun! How could I have forgotten? The sheer amount of debris flying around during gameplay is very impressive. All of them physics objects, not alpha particles.

I like my sh'm'ups. And Resogun is probably my favorite on consoles.
