PewDiePie sold out to Microsoft lol
Does he do this a lot? Does he at least mention he got the game and console for free in the video?

He mentions neither. But a ton of Youtubers are getting Sunset Overdrive.

Why am I not surprised that Microsoft is trying to tap into the youtube community to sponsor they're games? Microsoft has always done this, I remember a like a month of two ago Microsoft made some famous youtubers fly to some random location to play sunset overdrive, so this doesn't come as a surprise.

You make it sound like this is a bad thing.

It's not a bad thing, I just don't really care.

You care enought to comment though

That damn, lucky mofo... >:/

Yeah, i hate him so much, because he's lucky mofo.

I wonder he has Jak & Daxter PS4 in the storage....

I hope it's an exploding console. Or has ricin in it.

Decent marketing move I suppose. Shame I hate pewpiedie otherwise I would have watched the vid.

It will definitely boost exposure for the game, but I was speaking about this with another person the other day, people who get their entertainment kicks off youtube aren't the sort of people that do much playing. If that was the case, then every game PDP plays would have 5+ million sales.

Some one used the word 'degenerate'. Thats the perfect way to describe the YT generation.

I wondering why Nintendo and Sony aren't doing they same thing.

What's wrong with that guys voice?

Hmm, pie.

They would need a game close to a release date. Also, the game needs to be good, or else the Youtuber's reputation can get damaged if people know he got paid to praise a bad game. It's pretty risky, and I'm sure not everyone will do this. And if Sony does it, people will shout "desperation" because they copied a strategy Microsoft used.

Genious marketing move!

Well Nintendo does have the Nintendo Direct videos that they usually upload to YouTube.

Problem is these videos only preach to the choir and reach a tiny fraction of people compared to popular YouTubers like Pewdiepie.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
