Well, theres no reason they can't put Mewtwo in a bundle pack with serveral other characters and stages and/or give the option to buy each character individually at the sametime.
I am wondering though how amiibos will fit into all of this causes its like, MK8 for example, is getting the Link as a playable character as DLC but if you already have an amiibo but not have the dlc, does he get unlocked someone in MK8? Similarly, if they come out with a Mewtwo Amiibo but you don't have the mewtwo dlc, does he still get unlocked in smash provided you just have to do the nfc thing everytime? So many questions but so little answers T_T
