Arent those sales still based off over tracking in Q2

Wii U shipped 510k in Q2 with MK8. At most, Q3 will be 600k.

I got only Q3 sales.

BTW Q3 are always  stronger than Q2.

I know that. How much stronger (probably not that much) still has to be seen.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

Are we talking about shipped numbers or sold to customer?

Only the second one matters.
I pretty much doubt the X1 sold already more than the WiiU
You can ship all you want - Sold to customers is the only important one.
But though it could happen this Holiday if Smash isn't doing what it should be doing.
As Seece said in the Xbox Thread "We could see 12+ Million shipped end of this year" - As long as they don't sell that it doesn't maaatter.
You could ship a 100 Million Units if you only sold about 5-6 Million of them =)

It's kind of sad that video games are basically the only thing Nintendo does and they can't sell them better than Sony or MS anymore.

Nintendo should had let Sony create the cd-rom for the snes so Sony wouldn't create a console on they own and would stay the dominant in videogames

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

when is the wii u version of smash bros coming out? look what the 3ds version did for 3ds sales, I expect a bigger impact for the wii u version. that will make the wii u tough to pass if that game is set for the Holliday season.

^Yes that's me ripping it up in the GIF. :)

After seeing that Nintendo Direct for Smash... Man I have changed my opinion. I think the Wii U can potentially outdo Xbone by a country mile.

I mean look at the beginning of the year. XBone was beating the Wii U by 500k units. But as of today, the Wii U is beating it by 1.4 million copies (or 700k copies to satisfy the people who say the Xbone is undertracked, even though Microsoft is the shadiest company out of the three with releasing it's sales numbers). Plus all this talk about Smash and the content it provides made me realize they made Smash not only to have phenomenal legs, but also give the Wii U legs to stand on as well. That and mostly all of Xbones must have games are coming out on the PS4 as well.

Microsoft is in a stickier situation than people think.

Lol you have no idea what you're talking about. Xbox One has been closing the gap between it and Wii U all year. And when was Xbox One ever above Wii U by 500k units? You're just pulling numbers out of nowhere. You need to accept that Xbox One will pass Wii U with the Sunset bundle next week, COD bundle the next week, Halo MCC release and ACU bundle the week after that and the other 3rd parties coming this holiday.

Also, Wii U is overtracked. You'll see on October 29th.

ah stuff like this brings me back to the good ole days of my vgchartz history, back in 2008 when I actually CARED about the sales of my prefered console, for some strange reason I'll never quite understand.. I envy you, kid

"We hold these truths to be self-evident - all men and women created by the, go-you know.. you know the thing!" - Joe Biden

xbox one has been closing the gap with the wiiu almost every week since it launched, and the ps4 has been widening the gap with the xbox one more or less every week since launch.

Logic would suggest that if that trend continues, and it shows every sign of doing so, that this generation will end with wiiu last place, xbox one second, ps4 first.

Welp, looks like it's neck and neck. Didn't expect this until like Mid 2015, shows how bad I am at sales numbers.
Looks like Seece was right :(

Its too early to tell, and even if those numbers are accurate it still wouldnt have happened. Dont go saying Seece was right until the fat lady sings. We wont hear the last of it.

I was talking about shipments not sales, and yes I think I will be right (will be confirmed with Nintendo shipments hopefully).

Another point to be observed is that Nintendo have less units on shelves than MS... it can be easy confirmed in any store in US... there is a lot more Xbones than Wii Us.
