Okay, I have my flame suit ready for action.  I was wondering what you guys thought of both of these games, particularly in comparison to one another.  To me the graphics were pretty close, if Mario Kart was better it wasn't by much.  I know the gameplay was awesome, it was smooth as hell and the weapons and such were amazing.  And also, I agree with the guy in the review (look to the bottom of the page!) when he says the maps in CTR were more imaginative and just cool.  What do you think?

I've never played CTR, but I still play MK64 to this day. :)

I have said it before CTR is the last kart game that I really enjoyed like I expected.

Oh man I can still remember that I played with my dad and brother that demo for months;..

I thought Crash Team Racing's graphics were better. The game however sucked much worse.

To be fair though I was a battlemode fan mostly. The Crash Team Battlemode was unoriginal and lacking in strategy though. Well not completely lacking since I won nearly every time but it just lacked a lot of the depth in strategy.

Diddy Kong racing was worse then both to me and the only game i don't regret trading in.

Never played CTR, but I hate MK64, so...

Having owned both games, I have to say CTR was the better game. The single player was great, there was actually a storyline in it. Track designs were pretty good. I love doing the challenges which were collecting the C-T-R letters and the coins. Some of them were really hard to get. Some things I didn't like was boss battles/races. They were too easy. Another thing that was weak in CTR was battle mode. Mario Kart 64 was better on that.

Never played CTR, but seems better then Mario Kart 64. Diddy Kong Racing is more fun anyways.
