Out of the ones I have owned:

N64 > Wii > S Genesis > Gamecube > PS4 (to new still)

So, N64 leads, by far actually.

I owned a Wii U for about 5 months. I can't rank it

I think the Gamecube, the best memories of my life are in the gamecube years, Smash, RE4, Sonic Adventure 2, Sunshine, Metroid Prime... well, you know.

I know... my English sucks.

Easily the Wii, while I played SNES, PS1 and PS2, I really got into gaming through the Wii last gen and it introduced me to so many franchises that have easily become my favorites.

SNES and Wii.

SNES

Dreamcast would by second

The child me says the ps2 but the modern day me says 360

Wii. I could play my old GameCube games, my new Wii games, and with homebrew & Virtual Console I had a huge library of NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, & Game Boy Advance games to play.

Not taking BC & VC into account, then Super Nintendo.

Gotta go with the PS2. So many memories and it was out at a time when I started making my own money to be able to buy any game I wanted for myself rather than rely on birthday and Christmas gifts! I enjoyed the ps3 immensely as well. So far I am loving my PS4 but its too early to say if it will be better for me than its older brothers. Right now I can afford a lot of games but lack the time to actually play them!

This will make me unpopular, but i say Wii U. I love the gamepad and its functions, off tv play is an absolute luxury for me i now cant do without. It has some great unique exclusives, the best versions of NSMB, Mario Kart, Pikmin and Donkey Kong, and the Wonderful 101 is worth the admission price alone. Full backward compatabilty with Wii games, tons of Indie and a growing list of Virtual console games also represent value for money.I know its still only a couple of years old, but the upcoming exclusives really excite me, Xenoblade is gonna be epic and Splatoon and Yoshi look great too, Amiibo is another welcome addition to mix things up also. Strangely, before the Wii U both Gamecube and Dreamcast were my all favourites, so i must be sucker for underperforming consoles...perhaps i should get a Vita :)
