I don't listen to either.

Music taste preference depends on the individual's openness to experience songs that aren't on the radio or movies. Most people don't dedicate the time to sit and justt listen to music. They are too busy or simply just don't care enough. Therefor, they listen to whatever is presented to them on the radio, movies, games, etc.

This study is just dumb.

im a member of MENSA and i ONLY listen to JUSTIN BIEBER, MILEY CYRUS, ASHLEE SIMPSON, NICKI MINAJ, LADY GAGA, ONE REPUBLIC, etc.....

SAT/ACT do not test intelligence, they test what you are taught in school and your willingness to study it. The study in the OP is too flawed to be taken seriously.

i was being sarcastic....  of course the study is flawed... unless there is the limitation of the study section (which will be huge)  i won't buy this :P

But Radiohead is "meh". What you listen to doesn't make you smart.

Though some of what people choose to listen to certainly says something for Taste (Blood on the Dance Floor, Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, etc.)
