Forums - Gaming Discussion - In terms of overall game library, which console has the best software lineup?

Best software lineup this year?

Xbox One 99 27.73%

PS4 89 24.93%

Wii U 168 47.06%

Total:356

Good year for all gaming consoles, but I think xbox one had the best software lineup overall.

xbo. mcc is most of all i need. besides gta5 part deux.

I came here expecting to see an XB1 thread. I was not disappointed.

But pls do share, what makes the XB1 have the best library for the year.

I hope you can understand how I disagree with you being that I didn't play The last of Us until I got it for the PS4. I loved infamous and Drive Club. I also loved KZ:shadowfall. How can I know if games on the XB1/WiiU are better when I have not played them?

Anyways, I think this is a very subjective question. As people will just come and tell you that whatever console they have or they prefer has the best games for the year. Only way anyone is credible to answer this question is if they own all three consoles and have played all the games they exclusively have. Then again, some could also come here and lie that they do and have.

I'm a PS gamer primarily but Wii U did have the better library of exclusives this year than the other two consoles. However if you're in to 3rd party games and can't go with CoD or FIFA or any of those games, then Wii U wouldn't have much appeal.

If it between XBO and PS4 I would have to choose XBO because of having MCC, SO, Forza and Titanfall this year while PS4 had TLOU which I had already played, ISS, Driveclub which has been a PR nightmare and soon to be LBP3.

My gaming preference for this year would be for the XBO exclusives and seeing how both consoles have pretty much the same 3rd party games(not counting PS4 graphical superiority) I would put XBO as the winner this year.

Forza Horizon 2, Halo MCC, Sunset Overdrive,Titan Fall, Disney Fantasia, Project Spark over infamous , drive club, little big planet 3 and TLOU:HD. Wii U has the better exclusives ,but no third party support. But it is all opinion no matter what.

PS4. thats my opinion.

This will turn into list wars but w/e

I have all three systems but I would have to say PS4 has the best lineup for me. TLOU:R, Infamous SS, Killzone, Drive Club and Knack were all good games I also have alot of the multiplats on the PS4 and also a ton of the freebies. My X1 I got Titanfall, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse. It gets little to no play. My WiiU ive hot MK8, SMW3D Zelda WW and NSMBWiiu. It gets some fam play tme but by far PS4 gets the most just my .02

Wii U easily, had I not bought one at launch, I would have bought one this year for sure.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Exclusives wise - WiiU
Overall - hm.... tie between WiiU and Xbone (there are more games on Xbone, but more quality on WiiU)
