Wowzer, those 42 days have flown by.

You have way more hours than me. How did you not have time?

I still play it since I have nothing else to play ( I pop in Madden 15 from time to time). Mostly playing the PVP, and I don't know how you guys manage to get you 3 characters that high of a level, 28 hunter ( Raids are hard and my friends suck at doing them) level 9 Titan and a level 2 Warlock. It just gets so repetitive and boring. Only reason I'm willing to play through the Titans is because I've gotten exotic gear for that class.

I have fun playing with my Warlock and every time I start to play with my Titan I receive msg to play activities that I can't with my Titan... so I shift back... I like to play PVP too and I'm most playing with my Warlock because it already have the guns I wanted to use (DAT handcanon headshot machine).

PS. You 3x all activities with others class is so good... I will try to level the Titan to 20 so I will can use the Legendary and Exotic gears I already have for it

As I wind down on Destiny (73 hours later). I must reflect.

I have not felt so addicted to a game in a long time. For the first few weeks I obsessed over getting my first legendary piece of gear. Slowly my friends started to hit levels 21/22 and we began dreaming of the Vault. This social pressure for me to keep up with them really kept the game fresh. I grinded dailies, bounties, etc so I could get vanguard to level 2.
Once the legendary gear began flowing in, my obsession was to get my first exotic piece, which I bought from Xur. I then got an exotic bounty and got my exotic fusion rifle. My attention was then towards completing bounties to level up my legendary weapon and exotic weapon for the trophy.
My friends then felt confident to take on the Vault of Glass. We were able to make it Atheon in 3 hours, and then could not beat him. We cheesed him the next day with the ledge glitch. None of us were satisfied with this. So we all strived to hit level 28/29. This led me to my first nightfall and Shard grinding (daily public event + daily mission). 2 weeks ago we beat the Vault in 3 hours without cheating/exploiting.

Now all that is left for us is to try the Vault on Hard, which we are trying to do next week. I am 18 shards and 3 upgrades short of level 29, and have not got raid gear. I am now unmotivated to try for Raid Gear to hit 30. I see myself joining my close buddies to do the Raid every 1-2 weeks, do the weekly strike for 9 coins, and get enough shards to hit 29. But my obsession has officially ended.

Hadn't been this obsessed since Diablo 2....

Surprisingly I got my first Exotic from playing the strikes. Then I bought two more items from Xur and they ended up being Exotic gear for the Titan class

Looking at this picture makes me want better loot.

But then I'd have to play more Destiny. I just can't do it... I did my time...

I understand you... I played some games that give me the exact same feel.

Glad that not happened with Destiny for me... I have a lot of fun playing it... it is the first time I really get into a FPS game because [I guess] it get the good things from the genre and add others things from RPGs... I know... I know... Borderlands... but it didn't have half of the fun that I have with Destiny.

And VoG is the best gaming experience I already have in a console.

Across my xbo and ps4 characters i have now ammased 422 hours.
