I've played Resi 4, 5 and revelations and I liked them all.

 So Code Veronica HD looks good but I've never played it and the controls seem to be like the old games.

So I have to ask, does it have the same controls as resi 1,2,3 and does it have a way to change them ?

I started playing it, and could never get used to the controls. I basically died all the time because I would get confused which side to turn to etc.

I think you cannot change them.

Yes, it's like the original titles and no, you can't really change them. Imo, RE CV represents the end of the franchise because it was the last really good RE title before it went action (RE4) and then fell off a cliff.

So if you're a fan of the original games, you will definitely LOVE CV.

@Op the controls aren't a problem, their ment to be like that to heighten the tension, I'd say go for it! 

But if your waiting to play a good resident evil game they are Re-releasing resident evil Re from gamecube to PS3/ps4 and xbox after Christmas.....that will be the game to play

Don't know about you, but I usually get sick of old games quick. The controls, gameplay mechanics, etc. usually don't age well...

Well it seems I wont be buying it after all,
maybe I'll someday play the remake of Resi1 like phinch1 said.

Play it now pls! It's because the existence of re4 that it's my number 2 r.e. game! The story is great!! And also creepy. The controls, i know they are old, but you can look behind that and play a great game. A really great game!

It was decent back when due to the graphics and a semi decent story. It hasn't aged week at all.
