Jim Webb would be good though. War vet, former republican. Hes actually about as close to being republican as a democrat can get IMO.

GEN Wesley Clarke would be a perfect choice. He ran NATO under the Clinton adminstration and he's from the south. With him on the ticket that would dispel any notion that Obama does'nt have enough military experience to keep the country secure.

if he really wanted to go for the kill he could do ron paul. i think if he did that, then people would take a long hard look at the republicans and actually see how bad they have become. plus stealing the old style republicans (not the neocons) would be huge.
