I hope so. I'm getting a Wii U regardless for the Smash Bros. but a bundle deal, similar to MK8, would be great.

agreed, If they do a similar promotion with a free game then I'm sure I can convinve my sister to buy it.... Though we lack money so I doubt she would anyway.

Doubt it. The Mario Kart 8 bundles will rolled back in, like in japan. Mario Kart 8 should be close (or already is) to profitability, so packing that game will be smarter from a business perspective. Plus the Mario kart 8 DLC can offset any sort of loss they make from the bundles.
Nintendo will be pushing hard for ssb and the amiibo to be a smash hit, i just don't see the big n bundling it with the wii u
Why wouldn't they release a Smash bundle? They may not announce it tomorrow, but there probably will be one.
