They have obviously made some really high estimates initially - cause from what I'm seeing around me is that more and more people are buying Xperias.

In all honesty, none of this surprises me. I don't think sony are playing to their strengths in most of these fields. They would be fine again when they actually start doing just that.

Except Samsung are suffering as well with sales and profit plummeting only Apple and Chinese makes can survive in the current market.

You can't compete with apple, their profit margins are stupidly high on their phones unlike Samsung, HTC or Sony.

I think it's a smart move concentrating on the premium range only, but they need to tie in more of their other products such as the watch, the band, smart lenses, wireless speakers etc

I think people will wait and see.  It did drop yesterday in NY against a rising market though.

Yeah that's because we know now that he sold them but now that the news is out what next? Is it an opportunity for someone now this guy is out or do people follow him? So far it looks like the first one. Let's see...

Wow.....they are worse in the market than I thought!!!! :O

Despite all of those ads, I only know of 1 person with a Sony phone. And the sales don't seem great either.

Is there actually any risk for people having a Sony insurance when sony has financial problems? I mean I do know I would never ever make a contract with them as long as any part of them is in financial trouble,.
