Salutations! I have been posting on this forum for a while now and have had many discussions with quite a few of you over that time period revealing bits and pieces of me. I realized I hadn't properly introduced myself before so I'm going to do it now! I shall reveal to you all five things about me that kind of "sum me up."

1. Background - I'm a 23 year old male that has been playing video games (off and on) since I was a wee little lad. I live in St. Louis, Missouri and I can't comprehend wanting to live anywhere else (other than Inishfree, Ireland with my wife). My real life name is Ben.

2. Reviews - I like doing video game reviews in a more unique way. Many of you have probably seen my reviews and many of you dislike them. I focus my reviews on the things I find enjoyment in video games. The story, for me and some others here, is THE most central aspect of a video game and so games that may be fun to play don't get the best reviews from me when they spend $0 on developing a decent story.

3. Nintendo - I have been obsessed with Nintendo all my life. Because of this I have, for most of my life, hated Sony and (for a time) SEGA. Weirdly enough I don't have Microsoft, most likely due to the fact that they don't even come close to having the same kind of gamer base that Nintendo does typically. I also truly believe that if Nintendo didn't exist or if they collapsed then Apple would come in and take over the console industry and this whole thing would explode into some farmville infested wasteland.

4. Teacher - I am currently a teacher in a public school in a special needs setting. I will be looking to teach somewhere else in the near future (either in special education or social studies) due to this job not being the "right fit" for reasons I can't really go in to. Let's just say it's harder than your typical special education classroom. I love teaching and I love seeing students learn! I'm excited to see where I land next!

5. Beliefs - I believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe Jesus Christ died for me and saved me from my sins when I accepted HIM as my savior all those years ago. My faith in Christ, Jesus guides me in life; it prevents me from being unloving towards others when I'm prone to be so, it makes me aware of horrible things I have said/done and instills in me a desire to be forgiven by those whom I have said/done things to, and it makes me more focused and aware of how I can be a loving human to others in desperate need of Christ (everybody). Jesus is my life.

***HUGE bonus - I am married to my lovely wife Kathleen. I don't remember what it was like not being married to her and having her around all the time (we got married in July) and I can't even fathom what it was like to not have her in my life 4 years ago before I pursued her. I'm serious. I can't remember what it was like to not have her to bounce ideas off of and talk to all the time. It's so strange to think about that and I'm confused thinking about it now as I type this lol.

Anyway, that is a lot about me in a little bit of detail. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I LOVE YOU ALL!

Hello! It's cool that we have teachers on here. I can't imagine any of my teachers spending any time here. :P

It's cool seeing another Christian on the forums. Makes the religious discussions much more interesting to read. I should have assumed your faith with the Aslan avatar. I don't know many non-Christians that love The Chronicles of Narnia. :P

Also, it's interesting that you love Nintendo so much but have so much emphasis on story. Those two usually don't go together.

As for the poll, Spongebob wins with Hey Arnold and THe Powerpuff Girls a close second and third.

Welcome to the site Ben, although I've known you since you made that thread about your wedding.
Also from you list, my favorite is Dexter's Laboratory and Spongebob is second.

You are really young. God bless you in your teaching career. Stay away from trouble with students.
you know what I mean.

Also, nice to see a Christian here, may the Holy Spirit always be with you. Jesus is my life as well.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Oh man. I know you from your reviews. You put video game media outlets to shame.

Anyways. Welcome and nice to meet you.

Good catch on the Aslan thing! Many don't put that together to mean something. I love Narnia!

I love Nintendo games because of their charm and their lack of imorality (in comparison to other gaming companies). Most of their games don't have the best of stories sadly and my reviews reflect that. Zelda typically has a great story (espcially SS and TP). Mario usually has horrible stories, but Paper Mario (except for Sticker star) and mario and Luigi rpg games usually have good to amazing stories.

:) Did I say something in that wedding post that impacted you or that's just coincidentally the first thing you've read from me?

People say I'm young a lot! But when I teach students who were born in the 2000's I feel old... lol

Thank you kindly person!
