Forums - Nintendo Discussion - *Wii U - $200 - Do I buy?

So, the Wii U is currently $200 new on eBay. However, it is only for the 8GB console.

My questions, how much space do the updates take up? & Should I go for it or wait?

You shouldn't trust Ebay. Just get one refurbished from gamestop or Best Buy.

I would wait for a bundle or buy the refurb wiiU from Nintendo's store for $200 cause that has 32gb of space and the other benefits of the deluxe edition that are missing in the basic edition... I mean, with 8gb of space, you basically need a new hard drive as well

YES but not from there. Get it refurbished from Nintendo for $200 you get the 32gb version, Nintendo land, and it looked brand new when I bought it.

Seriously I think these are just unsold new ones lol because the wraps were still on the console and controller and it was in the original case unopened and everything and the extra storage is good if you buy anything digital

I appreciate your concern & thanks for looking out

With that said, I bought my PS4 brand new from eBay earlier this year for $350 (it works fine & was new)

Get the Nintendo Refurb. It's worth it. Here's the deal though, if you are going to get an external hard drive anyway, you might as well get the 8GB.

I totally wanted to talk to someone who got the refurbished one. So, it really does look & work new?

My concern is that I bought a refurbished GC when I was younger and it broke in less than a month. It was from Walmart though. Ever since, I've stayed clear of any used consoles...

How long have you had it?

Nintendo's refurbished systems are basically new systems put in a different box. I bought a 3DS last year from them and it looked 100% unused.

I have a 8 GB with an external disc. It´s the same thing. Also BUY IT!!

Ebay? No....

Get refurbished or new one. 8GB or 32GB doesn't matter. (unless you care for colour..like me lol).

It has great experiences and games, so you should get one as soon as possible.....before Friday's Bayonetta at best.(or get both on same day )
