With 12 weeks remaining the PS4 is a mere 1.5 million units behind Ubone. 

Based on the sales for the week ending 11/10/14, the PS4 will fall just 650,000 units short. But with the holiday boost coming up and complete European domination, will the PS4 do, by the end of the year, what the mighty Wii could never?

It's a matter of weeks really.

But less than 13? That's a question.

If the Wii U and XBO can put up competent sales numbers this holiday season then no.

Oh they'll have good sales, but PS4 will manage to stay on top for most of the weeks, probably minus smash bros and halo launch week.

And if they're second, it'll only be by a few thousand units.

Nah. Will be lucky if it can stay above 45%.

I'd have never thought it had been possible for PS4 to reach 50% market share but this time it's really different ...

I think it can. It's consistently getting over 50%, and things like the GTA V bundle and the Chinese launch will help.

I say, by the end of the year: PS4 17.5m, X1 8.5m, Wii U 9m.

I'd be surprised if it didn't, it's already so close!
