I'm finally done reading your essay

Tagging for when I have a spare hour or 2 =P

Nope. Not reading!

But this what needs to happen to the untapped franchise:
> keep those aerial shooter stuff
>3d shooting battles
>huge amount of modes
>long campaign
>half of game being online focused
>many online modes
>including one where there are multiple teams and air, landmaster, onfoot and water battles happen at the same time on a big map.
>on foot 3rd person missions in story mode -1st person option available.
>Ultra lightning effects
>online mode where only onfoot w/o optional vehicles avaible
|>more stuff.
>10/10 standard story, and fun, vast, epic , easily hypable and addictive online plus local coop. (same thing but one is online.)

You deserve an award for patience and perseverance.

What do you think of it?

By the way, I fully know my last post was zero help. I did it anyway to make it look like your thread is getting attention. Who knows, it might attract more people

First off, I agree that this will never happen. It won't happen because the game you describe would take a decent budget and Nintendo wouldn't spend a lot on Star Fox. Unfortunately, they don't have enough faith in it to do that. (Look at F-Zero)

With that said, your ideas did seem pretty good. I like the idea of having a balance between Air & Foot missions. Air would obviously be the focus but land missions, if done correctly, would improve the game.

Now, I would add an arcade mode. My dad really enjoyed SF64 & it's one of the only video games he'll play. He thinks that games of today are too complex. An arcade mode would be cool for people who just want to casually play SF64 style.

Another thing, what did Miyamoto say about Krystal?

I actually disagree with your entire post and Starfox should be this:

64 player Online Multiplayer with capital ships and Arwings.
Squad making, 4 vs 4, 4 vs 4 vs 4, 32 vs 32, 16 vs 16, 8 vs 8.
4 vs 4 tournaments. Worldwide Ranking.
8 multiplayer maps, free for all and team deathmatch
15 - 4 player co op story missions with AI filling in the slots. Team based scoring, Worldwide Ranking

Make Slippy the hero.. rename it to StarFrog

I don't remember him saying anything, but I do believe he'll just ignore the existence of everything that was done to the IP while he wasn't in charge.

As for the arcade mode, it would still be there in a way. You would definitely be able to just play it like Star Fox 64 if you wanted to - play a set of missions, choose next set on the map, repeat.

Well that's a great thing. Miyamoto should totally ignore everything included Star Fox 64. I think that the IP has been average (at best) for so long that Nintendo should just reboot it. Call the game "Star Fox" and start over.

Although, rebooting Star Fox on a poor selling system might not be the best idea. It'll end up like Pikmin. Both had GC games, the GC sold poor so the games had a low base to sell to. Now, Nintendo is bringing them back on Wii U, again to a low base to sell to.

Both IP's will sell poorly & won't get a new game for some time...

I do like Slippy

You certainly put a lot of effort into that op. I skimmed it but I like a lot of what i saw.
