Currently on my 0th platinum. Its been a lot of work to get this far, but each one of the 0 has been a memory I will never forget... ;~;

Like you I only pay attention to trophies to games I already enjoy. It gives them extra replay value and something for me to do when I do not want to play a new game. I only have one platinum trophy and that is not likely to change. Most games now have trophies for the multiplayer aspect of them and I do not play multiplayer. It is unfortunate that this is the way they do things because people like me that have no interest in multiplayer never get a chance for 100% completion.

I only got 11. I only Platinum the games that I enjoy and skip the rest that aren't worth my time.

I don't care about trophys too much. But I still managed to get... I don't know, 12 platinums? It's in my sig. It just comes naturally for me, I normally don't play a game just for a trophy or something, I play it the way I like. The only exception is Beat Zico from Wipeout HD. I just really wanted to get that thing. Really hard trophys are the only fun ones anyway. Like, what's the point for a trophy like "beat the tutorial" or something? It doesn't make sense and makes the whole system pointless. You don't need skills for a high level, you just need dem moneyz and too much time on you hands for a lot of games.

Resistance 2 had that one terrible online trophy that stoped me, 10,000 ranked kills or something. 

I used to go after them more years ago when I had friends to complete with. Now if i enjoy a game and its not to hard to get il go for them. Most of the time online trophies usually stop me from getting platinums. Currently have 24 but 25 is almost mine(Defense Grid 2). Im most proud of my TLoU plat.

I stopped caring about trophies a long, long time ago.

39... And I believe I will get the number 40 pretty soon. Soul sacrifice is great fun and I will get the Plat for sure.
