What went on
About 12 hours ago, the game Paranautical Activity left Steam's Early Access and went gold. However, on the game's front page banner the game was still listed as an Early Access game, something one of the developers wasn't really happy with.
The developer went on a rant, saying the following things: ''First they force me to delay the game because I can't release on weekends, now this. Steam is the most incompetent piece of fucking shit. Fucking steam is just fucking taking money out of my pocket. misinforming people that my game is in fucking early access. I am so FUCKING DONE DEALING WITH FUCKING INCOMPETENT SHITS. By the time they fix this we'll no longer be on the front page, and their response will be "oh well" I hope by the time my next game comes out steam doesn't have this awful fucking monopoly anymore.'' After that, developer Mike Murderbeck made the dumb tweet saying ''I am going to kill gabe newell. He is going to die.'' which got the game pulled off Steam.
However, Mike is part of an indie team, thus sales are very important. He went on to say ''It's just not possible to make a living in this industry without steam, so I'm just out. Don't worry guys, everything is gonna be OK, we sold TWELVE copies on non-steam platforms today!!!!!! :D :D :D we were selling more than that a minute on steam.''
But, this thing also made an innocent victim, Master Vallisca (@Vallisca3x3x3), the other guy on the game's development team living of the game's profit. ''My fucking career is down the fucking tubes... I can not believe this for a moment. cant believe this shit... I am reeling. WTF am I gonna do now? seriously, wtf am i supposed to do about all of this. My shit is ruined, I keep watching this feed, and its all bad.. this so horrible, I didnt say shit. how the fuck am i supposed to fix this fucking nightmare?''
