I purchased one last week and then returned it.  I was very disappointed that it could only play 3 of the 8 PSP digital games.  Also, there was no Netflix and other necessary TV apps.   I should have read the reviews before buying it.   Clearly Sony rushed this device out too soon.  It's not even close to being a viable TV microsystem.  Perhaps if they continue to support it, it will come into its own.  But for the time being, it ain't worth the hundred dollars.

Got one and I like it quite a bit.

I mainly use it to play PSP and VITA games on my TV, because frankly, I don't ever have time to play handheld games when I'm not at home. And I definitely don't see the point in playing handheld games, on a handheld, while sitting on a couch.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Got a vita, they cant support worth a shit. not buying another product from sony unless its audio related or a true game console.

If I would get a Vita TV the purpose would be to stream games to the other livingroom when the main one is occupied. However that isn't often the case and Sony confirmed that the Xperia Z2 and Z2 tablet will receive remote-play with the upcoming update I'm still wondering whether not just to use my phone (and get an MHL to HDMI cable for when I want bigger screen gaming).

However I do have all the PSplus Vita games since the beginning and bought KZ Merc and LBP cheap when I had the Vita a year ago.

Do you have any plans to buy a Playstation TV? and if yes what will the main purpose be for it?

Originally I wasnt planning to buy one, but now im on the fence. I wasnt much interested as I thought that blowing up the games onto a bigger screen would make them look a bit rough, but from what I have read and the few video's I have seen that doesnt seem to be the case. Sometimes I think it might be nice to play some of my Vita game (mostly the niche Japanese ones) on the sofa with a joypad and big screen TV :)

I was going to get one but when they pulled all of those PS1 classics at the last minute, I backed out. If they end up adding all of those back, I'll probably get one since I don't own a PS3 or PS4 and don't want to pay the ridiculously high prices on ebay for games like Silent Hill.

they took the PS1 games! since the didn't aad PS2 games in the annoucment, i was holding out for that. here's hopping for the return of 1, and the addition of the other.

If there were more Vita games compatible with it. It would be a certain buy for me.

It's really important that Sony rolls out online services for the PSTV soon. The fact that Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu Plus are unaccesible on the PSTV is confusing and unacceptable. It's a mini-console you can hook up to the big screen and yet, it lacks multimedia capabilities? I think a lot of people balked on getting a PSTV because of this.

I'm balking now when I was a definite buyer before.  Glad I saw this thread or I would have been really disappointed later on.
