I have an hdtv in one of my rooms with nothing but a Wii connected to it. With that PSTV, it will have a new life amongst my guests.

Yeah, that's not a bad alternative but the screen dims, etc.  Still better than spending another 100 bucks lol.  Thanks!

I was going to but I still dont know what games work. (some that do are not even listed in the official compatibility list)

The list should say what is NOT working instead of what is working imo.


But then Google announced the x86 box so the Vita TV is not that much of a must have anymore. (I have a Fire TV anyways)

Nope. I already have a Vita and I'm disappointed with the severe lack of quality games that aren't ports. Why buy a Playstation TV when I can use more apps, play games up to the Dreamcast running full speed, and play all PSP games, not just a few, on the Amazon Fire TV all in glorious 1080p rather than a max resolution of 720p?

I thought Playstation TV would have been a game changer when they announced it a year ago, before the launch of Amazon Fire TV, but not any longer. It's just Sony trying to milk more money from a console they clearly don't give a shit about and I'm not going to support this practice.
