Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Hyrule Warriors PSA: Dealing with the character who won't show weak point

No doubt everyone who owns Hyrule Warriors and has played far enough to unlock Zant has noticed that he seems to refuse to ever reveal his weak point, making it a nuisance whenever you have to face him, forcing you to keep attacking him with regular attacks, which can be frustrating when you're running out of time or your character isn't at a high level.

Well, as it turns out, there's a way to do it. If his attacks keep hitting, but failing to damage, as will happen when you block his attacks, he will keep trying to hit you with his specials, and eventually he'll go dizzy, just as when you're playing as him... and it's at that moment that his weak point shows.

You only really need to block his special attacks to make it work, so feel free to attack him normally if he doesn't seem to be attacking you properly. It definitely speeds up the process. Just be aware that his attack that involves him going up on top of a column shoots energy balls out in front of him, and you need to be hit (while blocking) by those to encourage him to go dizzy. Otherwise, it's fairly easy to figure out what to do - for the hand, stand underneath it.

You're welcome.

Useful to know, thank you

Interesting. I usually don't block at all, just dodge, so I wouldn't have thought of this.

Thanks!! I never use the cover button, only dodge.

Funnily enough I was just thinking as to why he never showed any weakness points. Thanks for the tip.
