that was the time we had no shipped numbers form sony and vgc was at only 9m sold through
if i knew the 10.2m shipped number from sony at end of june and vgc was at just 9m 2 weeks into august, i would call it undertracked aswell

but now we know sony needed 1 month and 3 weeks to sell through the shipment numbers in summer.
so 1 month and 1 or 2 weeks to get that 13.5m shipment sold trough in the holiday season seems fine.

I really hope it does pick up and outsell twenty million by a decent margin, but Nintendo will have to fill the gaps in it's 2015 schedule to bring the Wii U baseline to over 50k weekly for that to happen. Smash and MK8 added to the userbase, but it's going to take ongoing commitment to releasing new titles on time to make the U look like a better investment.

Then again, it has the best back-catalog overall at this point. If Nintendo keeps knocking it out of the park with their first party titles - and follows through with their plans on letting third-parties take a crack at some of their choice franchises - they may well have the best exclusive library well into 2016.   

Well, looking at my prediction now, it seems more and more likely.

PS4 could easily reach 19M and even more

I agree and I was thinking 17m - 17.5.

Since it's doing Wii 2007 numbers for November, i guess it could be the same for December ( 4M )

I think so.  PS4 could have 36-38M by the end of 2015. I don't know if WiiU will ever reach this.  Just my forecast.

Sorry, my title is misleading it seems, i meant by the end of this year ( thought it what " by 2015 " meant ) ,  because i dont think Wii U will reach 20M

In this case I will change : I believe PS4 will be at roughly 17.5-18M by the end of 2014, and WiiU could pass this by the end of its life cycle. Ok, I'm not sure, too early to say now.

PS4 could be at 19m by years end
