If the PS4 makes it to 25M by the end of 2015 then yeah. That's my guess. It's hilarious all these type of predictions. Who would have guessed last generation.

I see ps4 doing 18-20M (if Sony delivering enough stock) by jan 1, wiiu ltf should be 15-25M depending on smash and how long ninty keeps support (for me it will be 20-22M range at the end because I like Ninty and when price is bellow 200 a lot may decide to have it as secondary console, to bad it don't have scale to go under 150 and 100 healthly). So for me it's a very small chance that ps4 will outsell wiiu ltf by jan, maybe by june don't matter how long it sells and smash or zelda effect, maybe ps4 could be at 25M in June.

i wouldnt call 3m ps4 december sales disappointing in its first year

ps3 high was 4m in the slim version launch year

and beat the 3m mark just 3 times

a 5.5m first year holiday will guarantee a 100m+ lifetime gen for the ps4 (if nothing extraordinary happens - sony going bancrupt or anything)

With the 34 million of the N64 and 22 million of the Game Cube. Nintendo still managed to make a profit, selling on average 5.5 million console per year over the duration of the 5th and 6th generations. The Wiis arrival in late 2006 went on to sell more console systems in 3 years with 60+ million than the N64 and Game Cube sold over a decade between the mid 1990s up to the end of 2006.

Wii U will continue to turn a profit for Nintendo despite its slow start and it should sell some where between the Game Cube and N64s sales. 30 million Wii U sold for this generation is a fair prediction.

Depends, PS4 next year will sell anywhere between 15 and 20 million. It will have a price cut next year.  Wii U will have a struggle to reach that latter number in its lifetime. It's gonna be close I think.

Next, is expected to be bigger than this year. I would say 5 to 6 million, and also the top Wii u year.
2016 will be like 3 to 4 million. The other years will depend whenever they release the sucessor.
I expect like 25M.

I think he means the LTD for PS4. If this year we end with 16M LTD, pretty reasonable, it's expected that in the next year PS4 sells around 15M so it would reach a good 31M LTD. With the current trends, a really  hard  number for the Wii U.
