There's a chance, but I don't think so. By the end of the year the ps4 should sell somewhere around 17-18 million and when it's all said and done the wii u could breach 20 mil.

It's possible. I'd say PS4 will end with 16.5-18m by 2015. Wii U could be at 16-18m by life's end, but it's a bit more difficult to predict.
If I had to bet, I'd say PS4 will make it.

All depends on how Wii U sells after Mario and Smash out the way. If it drops back to 40k per week in feb then I do think the PS4's sales by jan will be more then Wii U's eventual LT.
So I essentially I don't know but its definitely possible. This year could very well be the Wii U's peak followed by a swift decline in 2015 in spite of all quality titles sceduled because non really look like system sellers except Zelda which isn't coming 2016 anyway, by which time Nintendo would have moved most projects to their new system due in 2017 ;p
Really though the Wii U could sell as low as 16m lifetime.
I'd rather not see the Wii U do that bad. I hope that lifetime, the Wii U hits 30 million+, though it might be a longshot unless Nintendo steps it up.
At this pace? I guess in September 2015.

WiiU will sell about 20m lifetime. PS4 will reach 18m+ this year so it will be close in any case

I'm confused, if you meant starting 2015, then maybe Wii U has a chance but by the end of 2015, ps4 will win easily. Don't see Wii U reaching 25million.

maybe u got some shipped numbers form sony. that could be 4.9
and ps4 doing over 4m form oct - dec is a given. that would not even be as much as the nov- dec launch (4.2m)
5m is in range, too but i dont see much higher numbers...
5.5m maybe, but not 6m+
