Attempting to renounce more religious sects, yet you quote the bible as if it were truth. Lol.. how ironic...

What does it feel like to believe completely and utterly that what you believe is 100% true, without any concrete evidence to back it up? Must be an odd feeling.. I cant say I've never experienced it. In a strange way, a small part of me envies you..

What I'm doing is exposing Christian sects by the book they believe in and/or alter.

As for any evidence: The fact that we know prophecy about the Messiah existed before Jesus was claimed to be born is enough for me.

This is what you should tell the first sentence to: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness but fell out of it a long time ago. You need to understand that religious text have been modified for political purposes forever so this comparison is to something that itself was altered... by King James... its kinda right there in the title.

I think the Septuagint kind of proves King James didn't do any changes like the NWT.

Do you realize that each version was written by people and not by a god? Do you realize that there are over 30k sects of Christianity and literally thousands of interpretations of the KJV Bible.

So if there are so many ways to understand one translation,  there are surely multiple ways to translate as well.

Its really okay for people to see things differently. How boring would it be if everyone saw things the same way?

Of course I know they were done my men: I think some of them are inspired by God.

As for interpretation, all I can say is that God is not the author of confusion.

What is this confusion you speak of?

To really appreciate the majesty of creation is to stand in awe at the diversity it produces.

To demand that everyone believe the same thing is an affront to the creator itself. All works of faith are inspired.

It stands to reason that the Quran thread and Bible thread should exist separately, but how about just one of these per religion? (and no, different denominations DO NOT COUNT).

Dump it in the NIV thread and combine them.
