Nintendo France has revealed that Tomodachi Life has sold over 200,000 copies. The company also say that it was the best-selling video game this summer in France. Tomodachi Life has also sold over 100,000 copies in Germany and performed well in the UK charts.

Game did very well, best legs of the year for HH easily, and a surprise hit!

Tomodachi Life is one of those Nintendo games that you think at first sight won't do good, then you see how they succeed and all you can is ''Goddammit Nintendo''

But yeah, don't care for the game, At all but glad that they're getting good sales.

So no one else has any thoughts on this news?

Really shows how random consumers can be in the wild. This does great. But W101 fails. I really never get that.

I haven't played Tomodachi Life, but I imagine it's like Animal Crossing. You have no idea what the *curse* point of the game is, then you play it, and then you're addicted.

I was told that this was guaranteed to bomb? What happened?

The game certainly didn't have a strong debut. But it had very, very strong legs (and still has strong legs).
