Forums - Sony Discussion - Driveclub update: "majority of DRIVECLUB players should now be able to connect and play online"

Majority, lol. See any changes, guys?

"We’re still improving server performance to get all of you enjoying full online connectivity together, but the majority of DRIVECLUB players should now be able to connect and play online.

More server updates and upgrades are coming online over the weekend, so while this work continues you may still experience some issues with connectivity but please keep trying. When you do get connected you can go online, play for your club, use your club cars, play multiplayer races, compete in face-offs, and compare your best times and scores with everyone on the leaderboards. This is in addition to playing in Tour mode, creating your own single events and customising your cars in your garage (which you can do offline too).

We will continue to keep you informed as we make progress and we know we’ve said this before but we mean it: We know how frustrating it is when you can’t get connected and we feel it too. We are working flat out to get online sign-in, multiplayer racing and leaderboards running smoothly for everyone, all of the time.

We can’t thank you enough for your messages of support and feedback during the past week, so please keep talking to us and sharing your thoughts about the game while you play."

I want to say, I hope they learnt their lesson but they never do...

The majority? Wow, that's probably among the most amazing things I ever read this side of EA's botched Battlefield 3 launch and Blizzard's famous Diablo III troubles.

Most people already stopped playing, so the comment about majority should be the truth.

Wouldn't that make it "minority"?

They said "majority of players", not "majority of buyers/people who downloaded the PS+ Edition".

Lol. What ps+ edition

Around the Network

Play - YES
Multiplayer - Laggy/Setup fails frequently
Preorder cars - unable to get them
Club Achievements - not working
Challenges - not working
Ghost cars when doing time trials - inconsistent, not always appearing

Despite all the negative bits above the game is really fun to play and i enjoy the club part in upgrading. How much I will play this in future depends on what extra content comes out. It does though suck that so much of my XP that i have earned is not reflected in my club due to the online portion being offline for so much of it.

You don't get to escape that easily!!!! ;)

You said people who stopped playing, meaning people who have the game.

And the PS+ edition is delayed due to the issues. The PS+ discount works though.

Any proof of that ?

are you sore about DC for some personal reason ?

So not all players. That's just bad

About time, all i've wanted to do is race my friend's online and i've had to wait 13 days to do so.
