Maybe Animal Crossing?

I'm fairly confident we'll be getting Animal Crossing Wii U next year.

I'm not so sure. There seem to be a lot of people who think that Animal Crossing on the Wii U will come in 2015, but judging from previous releases, that seems very optimistic. The average time between AC games is about 3 years, and even so there was a 4+ year gap between City Folk and New Leaf. This could indicate that Animal Crossing games are taking longer to develop, but even if it goes back to a typical 3 year difference, a Wii U version won't be out in the West until 2016. The only way that I see the Wii U version releasing next year is if it's a marginally improved port of the 3DS version, and as we've seen from City Folk, those don't sell very well.

Unless you're just talking about it being revealed at E3 2015, and not necessarily being released in that same year. In that case, ignore me.

Its too late. No one is going to dumb down their games for Nintendo in the current gen, especially when  they made it known that their games would be made for current gen consoles today. Nintendo Wii U will blow its load in power within the next year or so so really that would be a waste.

I don't think it's so much a matter of them taking a long time to make, rather that they simply choose to space them far apart.

Please don't understand me wrong ;) I would love to see more 3rd Party Games on the Nintendo Wii U and actually I purchase alot of them even if developers treat their Nintendo Wii U audience like shit!

Rayman Legends - Released 6 Month later as promised

Batman: Arkham Origins - No Multiplayer / No DLC

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 - No DLC which is very important for COD

Call of Duty Ghosts - No Free Fall Map at Launch / No DLC which is very important for COD

Assassins Creed Black Flag - No DLC

And non of these and alot of other games on the Nintendo Wii U got any support as on other consoles and then they wonder why their games don't sell much on the Nintendo Wii U! They always give Nintendo the fault, but its their own fault that their games don't sell on the Nintendo Wii U. As example, NO ONE purchases Call of Duty on a console with the knowing that they will never get any DLC! Its not Nintendo fault, the developers should put more effort in their Nintendo Wii U games and then and only then Nintendo gamers will purchase their games also on the Nintendo Wii U. Could you imaging a Nintendo console with full 3rd party support and all the great games from Nintendo? Nintendo would be the king again in the home console business, it would be like it is right now between the Nintendo 3DS and the PlayStation Vita!

We are facing the problem of the chicken and the egg, if Nintendo gamers don't buy third party titles, they will not make the effort to improve them as it is not worth it and they will not buy them till they improve them, so it is a catch 22, and now they are just leaving as they do have more options (other consoles and PC).

Now about the games mentioned...

Rayman Legends was delayed, but content was added, almost all the Origins levels were included because the had the extra time

Batman: Arkham Origins, lacked multiplayer (which sucks anyway) but it was 10 U$ cheaper than the other versions to compensate, DLC was cancelled when the game was a bomb, initially it was announced.

What about Injustice? why did that one bombed? it has DLC, released at the same time, and with almost the same level of quality.

one quick thing i disagree with. I Pick up a star fox in hope that N will realize that the universe they've created is ripe for story and character development and that they've finally made a game to capitalize on it. I'm dissapointed with what i've seen so far, but it's not much so i still have hope. Everything else i agree with more or less.
I want the announcement of a brand new kid icarus game for wii-u (big adventure game on the same scale as zelda). More 2nd party exclusives would be awesome and a new eternal darkness would be amazing.
I think we'll get another drought in the 1st half of the year, so i hope splatoon is really really really good. I don't think we're going to get a metroid announcement until 2016 with a 2017 release.
My big shocking hell freezing-never happen-announcement would be darksider 3 is a wii-u exclusive and darksiders 1 will be ported in the "darksiders collection" featuring the 1st 2 games in one package.
Oh yeah, one last thing. Wii-u needs a cool original fps thats nothing like battlefield or call of duty. More like dishonored or the darkness. I'd be all about a new time splitters.
Pokken will be cool, but not released till 2016.

Nintendo forced their market to migrate to Sony and others gen after gen since Sony entered the gaming realm because they refused to compete with their formats hence third parties siding with Sony. They essentially trained their leftover market (loyalists) to buy mostly first party exclusives.

All this talk about future games is nice but I think that some things should be done about the OS and functionality first. Adding a media player should be high on their priority list. Maybe recruit the VLC team to port the VLC media player to the Wii U. Sell it for .99 and watch the money roll in for them. Then they should be trying to get other streaming services to appear on their console. The WWE Network should be on Wii U as well.
If 3rd party publishers decided to give the cold shoulder Nintendo should be wheeling and dealing to improve what they can to make Wii U a stand alone unit. Little things like this would go a long way to bringing the Wii U up to the other consoles and gives people one less reason to feign hate for the Wii U.

Contrary to popular belief, the console "loyalists" do not number in the dozens of millions. Not even for Nintendo. Funny thing is, you're looking at the "Nintendo loyalist" demographic right here on this website, and it couldn't be more obvious that this small faction does not represent the purchasing patterns of Nintendo's broader audience.

What about Paper Mario? I'm going to be surprised if it doesn't get revealed next year!

THIS.

I need a new Paper Mario game in my life. Sticker Star was alright, but it didn't really work for me as well as previous titles.

Same goes to me! I want a Paper Mario game that's at least as good as Super Paper Mario if not as good as TTYD!

Unless the game was an exclusive, which I personally prefer anyways due to it usually means they take  time to optimize and add content instead of just getting it to run and cutting content out. But that's just me.
