Games.

There were half a dozen games out htat I wanted to play and at least a half dozen more that I really wanted to play that were coming out.

Thus I bought the system. When the same holds true for PS4 or One, then I will also finally purchase one of them. I dont' buy a system for 1 or 2 games. And considering most games I want to play on ONe/4 I can play currently on my PC or 360/ps3, they are not on my radar.

Nintendo made it. That alone promises me excellent first party games, and made it a must-buy for me.

I wanted to play SNES virtual console games and after this year's E3, I knew I couldn't pass up the club nintendo mario kart 8 promotion where you got another game for free.

Every Nintendo console is worth buying because eventually a new Paper Mario game will come out on it.

Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 primarily, with the promise of future great Nintendo games to come. Backwards compatibility with the fantastic Wii library and also Wii controllers was also nice and probably made me get it sooner - it would've been annoying otherwise as I probably would have needed to keep my Wii out as well.

While I never was ever really going to get Xbox One or PS4 - it really was Wii U or nothing for me - the lack of backwards compatibility on those consoles I consider to particularly spit in the face of the consumer.

Zelda. Did I buy it too early?? Yep.

I love Nintendo's games, so any Nintendo console is a given for me.

I also own a PS4, but that gets used far less. I'm waiting on games like FFXV, KH3, Guilty Gear, Bloodborne, and hopefully more games from Japan. I have no interest in X1.

Before the wii u came out, i wasnt like a gamer much. I played games mostly on my pc, but had a ps2, wii, ds and 3ds but i didnt like read gaming news.

So the reason why i bought the wii u was the gamepad. The gamepad sold me - without even looking at the games .

And after that, i bought more 3ds and wii u games, and check sites like IGN and this everyday

Well I hope windwaker hd will keep thou satisfied till 2016 since the.game will probably be delayed due to.Nintendo's lack of experience with an open world hd game.

First Time: I am a Nintendo fan, wanted to buy the new Nintendo console. Pikmin 3 looked pretty awesome.

Sold it...

I might re-buy because of Smash Bros mainly. Mario Kart 8 is pretty great too. I'm keeping an eye on Splatoon, Yoshi, & Mario Maker.
