Shadow of Mordor - Limited Edition £49.99

After the good reviews I was looking forward to this game, but having played it for a while dont think it was that deserving of the high scores it got. The nemesis system is the only part of the game which offers something new and keeps the game interesting. The locations seem boring, usually just grassy or dirty plains with a few scattered destroyed buildings around. If the nemesis system was not in the game, I would say it was a very poor game overall.

Alien Isolation - Ripley Edition £44.99

I love the look and feel of the game, being true to the source material, and seeing that Alien slither out of a vent for the first time sent shivers down my spine. However the is not without faults and it can feel like one of the most unfair game I have played to date. The times I have died where I didnt really do anything wrong, and had no chance to save myself make it quite a punishing game. The Alien which you spend all your time avoiding and hiding from doesnt follow a set path like usual AI so you never know where he is going to go or what he is going to do next, making avoiding him or hiding from him very difficult and unpredictable. This can sometimes have the effect of making the game feel like a chore to play and take away some of the enjoyment.

The Evil WIthin - Limited Edition £49.99

Only had an hour on it so far, but looks interesting and hope to put more time on it today. The main character looks a bit 'stiff' sometimes (particulary when running) and I dont have a cluie what is going on, but with more play time hopefully the story will start to make more sense.

7.5/10 (but that might change after I put more time into it)

The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

Super Smash Bros. (3DS) 9/10
Hyrule Warriors (WiiU) 7.5/10
Ryse: Son of Rome (PC) 7.5/10

Teslagrad (Wii U) - 7.5/10

I think the game has real charm, and the puzzles can be quite inventive and fun to go through. Unfortunately, they're also really frustrating at times, and the frustration doesn't always feel rewarding. Also, boss design is either hit or miss.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - 8/10

It's Smash Bros. on a handheld. The experience is fun and the game itself feels really good, but it feels limited because 1) the 3DS is not the best control scheme at all, 2) the modes feel very small/bite-sized, which is something I don't always want, and 3) playing Smash Bros. on a small screen sucks in comparison to a large TV screen. Definitely waiting for the Wii U version.

Hyrule Warriors (Wii U) - 7/10

The Dynasty Warriors style of gameplay has always interested me as it feels good to mow down a bunch of baddies at once. However, I honestly don't give a crap about the universes they're set in (not much of a Romance of the 3 Kingdoms/Sengoku period history buff). The Zelda universe actually gets rid of that concern I have with Warriors games because I love Zelda. They did make a lot of refinements to the core gameplay too, such as more movement options and more engaging generals/officer type enemies. That said, it's obviously repetitive, and the giant boss designs aren't very well done at all.

Driveclub: 8.2/10
A very good game with fun gameplay, challenging and aggressive AI and an awesome experience. I would have given it much better scores if online was working well.

The Last Of Us: Remastered: 9.0/10
An incredible experience which should not be missed.

Wolfenstein: The New Order: 6.8/10
A good single-player game but it isn't very memorable and doesn't have particularly unique gameplay.

Here goes nothing...

Shadow of Mordor - 8/10 (PS4)
Alien Isolation - 8/10 (PS4)
The Evil Within - 9/10 (PS4)

And i recently got Shadow Warrior(PS4) early. Lucky me.

I want Alien and Evil, but I will wait some time, maybe the price will drop a little...

How crappy is Shadow of Mordor? Is it really a AC clone?

Kind of like AC mixed with Batman Arkham combat style.

Alien isolation ?/10 Not played yet thanks to Driveclub

Driveclub 9/10 I'm lvl 49, 1 more to go. Could be 9.5/10 if the (club) challenges turn out to be a hit (haven't worked yet)

Minecraft ps4 6/10 Addictive yet full of bugs, old code base and runs like crap when you build all this

Entwined - 6/10 - For the money (I got it half price) it's a fun little puzzle game to quickly play but lack variety, challenge mode is oddly harder than story mode.

Wolfenstien New Order - 9/10 - fantastic game with lost to do and fine and a great story.

Lego Marvel superheroes - not really played it enough but 8/10, it's a lego game, can't go wrong wiht them

Hmm, pie.

In order of recent at #1.

3. Kid Icarus Uprsing - Amazing story with plot twists and emotional rides. I don'[t get what people say about controls either. Online fantastic and addicting. 10/10

2.Zelda Link's Awakeing - wanted to try a Zelda game. It's my second. So far, about 8/10.

1.MK8 - bundled with my Wii U. - 9/10.
